Job Description
This is an On-Site Position.

SUMMARY:

Reporting to Accounting Manager, the Sr. Accountant will be a key contributor to the Finance team in managing day-to-day accounting in both general ledger accounting and revenue accounting. This role is also expected to be highly self-motivated in driving process improvement and adaptive to a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be an active role to month end/quarter end/year end close and assist managers to ensure timely close.
  • Manage accounting transactions including AR/AP (revenue accounting, accrual accounting, prepaids...etc.), lease accounting, fix asset and more.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and other balance sheet account reconciliation in a timely manner.
  • Review and perform intercompany reconciliation and review junior accountant's work.
  • Interpret financial statements and understand variance and trend analysis.
  • Handle sales and use tax filings for domestic states and Canada.
  • File property taxes for California and Washinton States.
  • Proactively participate in process improvement and ad-hoc projects independently or under manager's guide.
  • Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and audit requests.
  • Mentor junior accountants in addition to day-to-day accounting responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7 plus years of hands-on experience in accounting.
  • Prior public company experience and familiar with SOX.
  • Prior experience with manufacturing companies preferably in international settings.
  • Prior experience in using NetSuite, Sales Force exposure a plus.
  • Prior exposure to ASC 606 and 842
  • Must be a team player and self-sufficient in a fast-paced environment.
