Job Description
As the Senior Business Systems Analyst, Anaplan at Penumbra, you will play a critical role in determining the company's long term goals. You will not only play a critical role in supporting our Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and HR teams but also provide a platform for your professional growth and development. You will be responsible for Anaplan application support and provide technical and functional support for our company's Anaplan applications. The successful candidate will oversee the Anaplan support's daily operations, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and effectively and that our Anaplan applications remain highly available, performant, and reliable. This role will also be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications across various portfolios, provide tools and services to help product management and project teams manage and deploy releases into production.
What You'll Work On
* Manage the day-to-day operations of Anaplan support, ensuring that incidents and requests are addressed promptly and that service level agreements are met or exceeded.
* Lead and own release of applications to production, ensuring post-production release performance as per specifications and SLAs.
* Participate in the planning and execution of Anaplan projects for the Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and HR teams, providing guidance on supportability, scalability, and other operational considerations.
* Work closely with business stakeholders, system owners, and IT teams to ensure that our Anaplan applications meet the needs of the business and are aligned with our overall technology strategy.
* Maintain continuous stability and availability of applications by monitoring and performance tracking key KPIs defined by the application/business stakeholders.
* Work closely with the application development, testing, and deployment teams.
* Develop close collaboration and partnership with the Solution Design/Development team to ensure the application is built to perform post-release as agreed in SLAs with businesses.
* Provide post-release support by working with the deployment management team and Service Now (SNOW) Incident Management process to resolve operational issues by the release.
* Communicate plan to formally close release activities, verifying all documents and records are properly updated and reporting release outcomes and feedback to project teams.
What You Contribute
* A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Scrum Agile certification is desired
* 5+ years of experience in application support, preferably with Anaplan is desired.
* Experience working in an Anaplan and Agile development environment is a plus.
* DevOps experience a plus
* Proven skills as a team member, team lead or project manager on at least one full life cycle implementation
* Willingness to mentor junior staff
* Strong technical skills, including experience with Excel, SQL, and data modeling.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously

Working Conditions
General office environment. Willingness and ability to work on site. Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 10 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.

Annual Base Salary Range: $132,430 - $188,053 / year

Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
